Overview

Hosted at Cisco CPOC facilities, the ASR 9000 LightSpeed Plus Hardware Qualification Lab provides the field and customers with hands-on access to the latest and greatest products in the portfolio, including the latest LightSpeed Plus based line cards and systems.

The current setup includes:

  • ASR 9903 with 2T PEC)
  • A99-10x400GE-X-SE (4T card)
  • A9K-20HG-FLEX (2T card)
  • A9K-8HG-FLEX (0.8T card)
  • A99-32x100GE-X-SE (3.2T)
  • A variety of modular chassis

The ASR 9000 LightSpeed Plus Hardware Qualification Lab is simple to reserve and easy to operate, available to account teams and customers to use with their own configurations and test cases.

Lab Use Rules

  • Due to the high demand for the lab, reservations are capped at one week per customer POC. Reservations of more than one week require approval.
  • The physical topology is fixed and cannot be modified. Upon completion of the CPOC, the CPOC users are responsible for restoring the topology to its initial states, including the initial physical topology and configurations.
  • The CPOC users are responsible for defining a test plan based on customer requirements.
  • The CPOC users are responsible for configuring and executing test scenarios based on the test plan.
  • After completion of the CPOC, the test report should be created and shared with the BU.
  • The test report should include the test details, equipment configurations, and test results.
  • The BU can help with the preparation of the CPOC by providing mentoring and consultation.
  • The BU is responsible for providing CPOC users with first-level technical escalation support during the CPOC.
