Telemetry Visualization and Machine Learning on IOS-XE and IOS-XR v1

Overview

In this lab, you explore a complete data journey from infrastructure nodes, to collection, storage in a time-series database (TSDB), visualization, and create machine learning models that can be used for anomaly detection.

The technology stack in use includes: IOS-XE/IOS-XR Cisco routers, Telegraf, InfluxDB, Grafana, Docker/Docker-Compose and Python. You start from the ground up, building the environment and initiating the models with data obtained through device telemetry that you learn how to enable. Due to the necessary quantity of data required to produce an accurate model, this lab does not provide enough time to accumulate this quantity, so there is a 30-day supply of data provided. We use this data for the ML models and is pre-existing data gathered from networking devices like the ones in this lab.
