Getting Started with Cisco ACI 6.0 v1.1

Overview

This lab provides an initial introduction to Cisco ACI and familiarizes the user with:

• The initial setup process
• Connecting a VMware ESXi cluster to ACI using VMM Integration, which creates a new dvSwitch
• The ACI security model: Tenants, Application Profiles, Endpoint Groups (EPG), Endpoint Security Groups (ESG), and Contracts and Filters
• Optional Scenarios: How to Migrate L2 Networks to ACI and how to connect ACI with external L3 network
